Study Description

The village of Dayton was established in 1837 by my great-great-grandfather, John Green, who came with a party from Licking county, Ohio, to La Salle county, Illinois, in 1829. I am attempting to trace all the residents of Dayton from the founding until 1900, and identify all the family linkages. Since the early generations were all related, it is also a genealogical study of a large web of family relationships.
