Study Area Bungendore
About the Study Bungendore is a small village east of Canberra, founded in the 1830s. My intention is to focus on the period 1830-1885 as this coincides with a period of growth that included the establishment of the first school, post office, church and Cobb&Co post. It concludes with the arrival of the railway to the district which prompted further rapid growth.
Population  1843 - 30 people
