Study Description

Macclesfield Street, was one of a large number of Islington roads and housing built to cope with the burgeoning population when City Road and the City Road Basin were constructed in the early 1800’s.

My ancestors lived there for nearly 50 years between the late 1880’s and mid 1930’s.

From its construction approx 1822-25 to 1940.
