Another Opportunity! In Search of an Education Officer

As I mentioned in Saturday's blog, we need you.... As one of the first 100 members of the Society, you have a key role to play in its future. Where do you see the Society for One-Place Studies in two years, five years, ten years time?

There are many plans afoot for 2014, some of which you will already be aware of, including the World War One Centenary Project launched earlier this month. The Committee are keen to promote one-place studies and encourage good practice. This is where the Education Officer comes in.... a role for someone who can facilitate the advancement of the education of the public and engender enthusiasm for one-place studies.

We have agreed a job description for the post which is available in the Members' Area and, as with the post of Publicity and Events Manager, 'Expressions of Interest' are requested on or before Thursday 6 February 2014 to Janet Few, our Vice Chair. She will also be able to answer any further questions you have about the post.
