Study Description

Dallarnil is a small rural community in the North Burnett area of Queensland. White settlers first arrived in the district in the 1860s, farming the land until gold and other minerals were discovered in the area causing an influx of people in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. By the mid 20th century, Dallarnil was once again a farming community, with many of its facilities disappearing.
