South Pool is a village in South Devon, also containing the hamlets of Frogmore and North Pool. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, it has continued through the centuries to be full of agricultural workers and farmers.
My study will focus on the place, the people who lived there, and the part it has played through the years in the South Hams.
