Study Description
I will be furthering my research into Old Leigh as a one-place study.
My interest in Leigh began when I traced my maternal grandfather’s line and discovered that his paternal grandmother was born there in 1848.

1700s to early 1900s
Population
In 1801, Old Leigh had a population of 570, and by 1921, the population had grown to just over 15,000.
