Study Description
Preston-on-Wye is a rural village to the west of Hereford. In 1911 there were 48 households.
Initially looking at 1890 to 1939, exploring themes and stories. I would welcome contact / input from anyone else with an interest in the village.
To start with just the parish of Preston-on-Wye is being focussed on, before expanding to neighbouring Blakemere parish.
Timeframe
1890-1939 initally.
Population
1891 – population 212; 1931 – population 175
