Herne Bay One-Place Study

This is a comprehensive house reconstitution, using The Journal to chronologically build up a history of each dwelling in Herne Bay from its beginnings around 1815 to approx. 1950s. I am using the annual rates books, then the annual directories, with all available censuses, the 1939 register, and annual electoral registers (eventually!).

Working with Peter Cooper, we are aiming to place all the houses on the M4OPS mapping device, in 2018, then link the map to the Journal with all the information for each dwelling.
