Study Description
Acklam Road is the main route out of Middlesbrough through the suburbs of Linthorpe and Acklam.
Having lived on Acklam Road for over 40 years, I plan to explore who lived there and how it developed into the major road it is today, using trade directories, maps, newspapers and census data.
