One of the larger parishes (by land area) in Suffolk, Badingham’s population has varied between about 450 and 700 over the last 200 years.
Until recently, employment in the village has been largely agricultural. The parish church of St John the Baptist has served the community for more than 700 years.
This study is in its early stages, my interest having come from living in the parish for twenty years.
