Study Description

In 1880 Johnson & Co. later known as Keymer Brick & Tile Works, built 4 pairs of semi detached properties to house brick makers and workers. In the late 1930`s when the land around the cottages was developed for housing the cottages were renumbered and absorbed into St Andrews Road. My home is one of the cottages and this study is the history of the cottages and the people who lived in them.
