Study Description

Kin Edar was a house in the old village of Strandtown, in what is now East Belfast. Built in the 1860s, and demolished around the time of the Second World War, Kin Edar was one of a number of large houses in its neighbourhood, and many of the area’s residents were key figures in the history of Belfast. This study looks at the history of this particular house and its gardens, alongside the lives of the people who lived and worked there.
