A study looking at two adjacent rural townlands in the parish of Ballyclog, Co Tyrone, just to the north of Stewartstown. The townlands made up the Tyrone portion of Samuel Delacherois Crommelin’s estates, and have a rich history, as evidenced by some of the archaeological finds uncovered there. My interest in the townlands is that my ancestors, the McConnells, lived and farmed there from at least the late eighteenth century (and possibly a good deal earlier) until the 1950s.
